2005 & 2007 Helpful Hints with Links Archive

Each quarter we offer a horsemanship hint, often related to current affairs on people’s minds.

There’s a new hint for September 2007 Get Your Horses and Stable Ready for Winter!  Written for stables in Arizona's desert climate, there is plenty of up-to-date information for anyone keeping horses in Arizona.

NOTE: Articles written after September 2007 will appear in Products and Services, the blog, or one of the forums.  The site is undergoing a redesign. These pages from Del Camino Equestrian Academy that served our training, boarding, lesson and horsemanship clientele are retained for their convenience and as examples to our equine business solutions clients.

If you missed a previous quarter’s hint, these links will get them:

1.      June 2004, Choosing a Lesson Program  This continues to be a very popular article, accessed many times every week.

2.       September 2005, Disaster Preparedness for Family, Pets, and Stables Still timely, with more practical tips and links to resources than most similar articles on the web.

3.       December 2005, Unique Animal Related Charitable Gifts and Means of Supporting Our Troops The links are still good and this is always useful around the holidays each year.  Saves a great deal of web surfing.

4.       August 2007, Establishing a Pet Trust to Care for Your Horse Should Something Happen to You

SPECIAL THANKS to Arizona Equine Rescue Organization (AERO) for having mentioned our Angel on their website’s Needs Good Home page.

AERO needs a horse trailer of its own to transport rescues, and the present fund raising campaign is focused on this urgent need.  About 50% of the money has yet to come in as of September, 2007.

Please visit http://www.azequinerescue.org/ if you can help with a donation.
